One of Bari F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Henley on Thames United:s goal. Amerigo Rosi had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Grant Sherwood's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dino Raimondi, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Jake Marriott notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bari F.C.'s Amerigo Rosi. Amerigo Rosi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when 秦青光 came free, but Sofoklis Prinianakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Xanti Lastras hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Praski in the 19th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Kristian Ottaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Rosi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amerigo Rosi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Houghton in the 24th minute. Sofoklis Prinianakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 楚崇文 in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Kristian Ottaway reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amerigo Rosi. The goal made the score 2-0. Carl Houghtons short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Amerigo Rosi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute, Xanti Lastras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Dino Raimondi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Carl Houghton took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Amerigo Rosi to make any attempt to save it. If Kristian Ottaway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 秦青光 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sofoklis Prinianakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦青光 in the 47th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when 秦青光 got free with Sofoklis Prinianakis in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 秦青光 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Prinianakis having to interfere. Bari F.C.'s Mariusz Praski suffered a sore foot after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Joe Wright charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joe Wright the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bari F.C. booed when Henley on Thames United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Wright didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofoklis Prinianakis made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when 秦青光 sent off a good shot on target. Sofoklis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javiero Leyton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, 秦青光 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bari F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but 秦青光 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofoklis Prinianakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henley on Thames United made a substitution. Huey Claydon replaced Joe Wright. Sofoklis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navarro Finden, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Kristian Ottaway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
