A sloppy throw-in by Ward Houde in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sobrecastell UD's Antimo Espinosa. Gilberto Boone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Beltran in the 10th minute. César Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Odonnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tomás Beltran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Boone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 36 minutes Varennes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joško Gvardiol who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Manu Bouzas drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Varennes's goalkeeper. 40 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Odonnell came free, but César Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Beltran in the 41st minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sobrecastell UD were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Varennes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joško Gvardiol took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sobrecastell UD's corner Joško Gvardiol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilberto Boone quite easily take care of the ball. After 44 played minutes Sobrecastell UD got a freekick which was hit by Caitano Pedrosa.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurice Odonnell made a kick off. Varennes's Gilberto Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Beltran in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Beltran came free, but Gilberto Boone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ward Houde made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Dominguez. In the 56th minute, Bernardo Goudreau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Sobrecastell UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antimo Espinosa to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Beltran came free, but Gilberto Boone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Tomás Beltran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varennes's Gilberto Boone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Beltran in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Boone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Boone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Tomás Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobrecastell UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Varennes made a substitution. Titus Pineda replaced Bernardo Goudreau. Tomás Beltran scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Boone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Tomás Beltran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sobrecastell UD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 74th minute, Tomás Beltran made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Boone. Varennes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Maurice Odonnells short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got César Suarez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 79 minutes into the game, Tomás Beltran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Gilberto Boone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Odonnell came free, but César Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caitano Pedrosa's late challenge caught a Varennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caitano Pedrosa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sobrecastell UD getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Caitano Pedrosa hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Titus Pineda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Hong Mosher in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sobrecastell UD's Antimo Espinosa. 89 minutes into the game, Sobrecastell UD's Tomás Beltran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Boone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Sobrecastell UD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
