The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Flavio Cifuentes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Drago, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Flavio Cifuentes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Drago. The goal made the score 2-0. With an all-out effort, Taltum FC's Ivan Drago threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Di Le Jun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepe Argento in the 21st minute of play. Ivan Drago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Karlsson in the 23rd minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Cifuentes got free with Ivan Drago in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Drago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Le Jun in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Di Le Jun came free, but Ivan Drago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Olof Karlsson in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhang Hao Qing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Di Le Jun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Drago. Di Le Jun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Ivan Drago made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Flavio Cifuentes sent off a good shot on target. Taltum FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Lost Boys Sports Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Cavenaghi took the corner. Taltum FC's Marcelo Cavenaghi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivan Drago in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Ivan Drago successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Olof Karlsson was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing got control of the ball when Per-Olof Karlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Johan Sellberg was substituted for Pepe Argento. Ivan Drago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 57th minute of play. Ivan Drago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Le Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Flavio Cifuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Drago was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The supporters of Lost Boys Sports Academy booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urko Vinuesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhang Hao Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Sellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Le Jun in the 91st minute of play forced Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalkeeper Ivan Drago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Olof Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhang Hao Qing having to interfere.
