Despite this Cecilio Mantzio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Onofre Masas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isaias Fuertehijar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cecilio Mantzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Fuertehijar in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute C.S.D Punta Ballena were awarded a corner. Bonifaco Villalcazar went to the cornerflag to take it. 30 minutes into the match, Astor Bero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartoli Navagos. C.S.D Punta Ballena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Bero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Isaias Fuertehijar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Cecilio Mantzio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 35 played minutes ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Cayo. Josu Garoña might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Mantzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josu Garoña ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 minutes of play, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Vicente Leguizamón made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartoli Navagos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Teo Trasgallo got a free kick in the 41st minute. With an all-out effort, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Cecilio Mantzio threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaias Fuertehijar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Fuertehijar got free with Cecilio Mantzio in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Astor Bero made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Aimar in the 59th minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Bartoli Navagos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifaco Villalcazar came free, but Cecilio Mantzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifaco Villalcazar in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Mantzio saved ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ from getting behind. If Juan-Carlos Casares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C.S.D Punta Ballena getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Isaias Fuertehijar hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Juan-Carlos Casares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Mantzio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Fuertehijar went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Fernando Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
