A nice corner shot did that Robert Awizo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vítor Baia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 27 minutes Brugge United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Stephen who took care of the corner kick. The corner led club atletico aldosivi's Robert Awizo to fire away a dangerous shot which Vítor Baia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jedrzej Koprowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Joeri Donderwinkel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Vítor Baia to make any attempt to save it. After a long run with the ball, Herbert Pietrowicz did a trick in the 91st minute in front of club atletico aldosivi's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. Brugge United were victorious despite being under pressure from club atletico aldosivi for much of the match.
