After a rather tough play, WINNING ELEVEN's Ladislao Ermengol got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Nemesio Tximitx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zalasárszeg OSE's György Tóth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Dávid Kerekes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neron Veterini, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Kálmán Gácsi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jake Leonard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Gomez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kálmán Gácsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg OSE's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tximitx came free, but György Tóth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zalasárszeg OSE's György Tóth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Tximitx in the 43rd minute of play. Nemesio Tximitx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but György Tóth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Neron Veterini made a kick off. Neron Veterinis short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got György Tóth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. György Tóth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Tximitx, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Nemesio Tximitx tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but György Tóth saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Gácsi in the 72nd minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Jake Leonard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Leonard came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Zalasárszeg OSE's Szilárd Tótfalusi. But to his dismay, Szilárd Tótfalusi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. WINNING ELEVEN made a substitution. Kryspin Zecman replaced Neron Veterini. When Julio Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the WINNING ELEVEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Gomez couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Zalasárszeg OSE's zone, Nemesio Tximitx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. György Tóth came out of the goal and Nemesio Tximitx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kryspin Zecman in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck György Tóth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. György Tóth was a little too slow when Nemesio Tximitx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-1. WINNING ELEVEN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
