In the 24th minute, Humberto Suazo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Haji Sarap. The goal made the score 1-0. Nicolas Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Suazo in the 29th minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 38th minute Geovanildo Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ranolfo Piedrahita in the 93rd minute of the match. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ranolfo Piedrahita, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Joinville City - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
