Kraig Fred started the match with the kick off. Cornelio Ruiskos short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Rigoberto Chus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Cero Descensos F.C.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Chus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelio Ruisko. Kraig Fred who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Rigoberto Chus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gauargi Criado kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Cero Descensos F.C.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Chus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelio Ruisko. Boran Kızılateş might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Ranolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boran Kızılateş ran back to his position shaking his head. Rigoberto Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Fred, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Timos Mitrofanis hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Cero Descensos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boran Kızılateş to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo got control of the ball when Boran Kızılateş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Traian Blăniță replaced Fran Tudor. The throw-in from Florencio Ermengol in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cero Descensos F.C.'s Julian Olo. Orlando Beltza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rigoberto Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cero Descensos F.C.'s Rigoberto Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de América's zone, Boran Kızılateş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Ranolfo came out of the goal and Boran Kızılateş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Etor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. Rigoberto Chus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Blăniță in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Cero Descensos F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Shi Xiang Zhi hit a great ball. Rigoberto Chus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Concetto Trasatti's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Traian Blăniță took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Chus. Rigoberto Chus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cero Descensos F.C. made a substitution. Necip Seylan replaced Timos Mitrofanis. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necip Seylan in the 93rd minute. Bernardino Salvino kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Estudiantes de América's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
