ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Gottfrid Hedström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ from getting a goal against them. Zagórna's Marian Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tassos Poulakis in the 6th minute of play. Gottfrid Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Arnista, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Fransson got free with Gottfrid Hedström in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertan Duman in the 16th minute of play forced Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Ertan Duman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Gottfrid Hedström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ from getting a goal against them. Zagórna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lech Marek in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertan Duman in the 24th minute of play forced Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Jan-Åke Fransson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gottfrid Hedström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ertan Duman took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Gniech. Marian Gniech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Zagórna's Gwidon Arnista got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Roberto Carlos got a free kick in the 50th minute. Gottfrid Hedström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Åke Fransson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Fotis Theofilopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Aias Kreskas was substituted for Fotis Theofilopoulos. 68 minutes into the game, Jan-Åke Fransson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gottfrid Hedström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zagórna made a substitution. Tiburcio Kiliz replaced Gwidon Arnista. Jan-Åke Fransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gottfrid Hedström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Uluç Tekinalp was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ made a substitution. Makareus Hagias replaced Oliver Bogren. After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Cao Jun Yan made the kick off and play began. In the 101st minute Jan-Åke Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 101 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Fransson came free, but Gottfrid Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 104 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Gottfrid Hedström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Kiliz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cao Jun Yan in the 111th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Gniech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 111 minutes in the game, Cao Jun Yan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jan-Åke Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 114th minute of the match, but Gottfrid Hedström made a huge save. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

Everyone could clearly see that both Zagórna's and ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's players was becoming tired in their legs when Zagórna's Jan-Åke Fransson did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. Gottfrid Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Kiliz in the 122nd minute of play forced ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Gottfrid Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gottfrid Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zagórna:s Gottfrid Hedström showed great skill when he stopped Cao Jun Yan:s penalty. When the match had been going on for 143 minutes, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Aias Kreskas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marian Gniech. The audience cheered when Pavlos Belesis's long shot passed Marian Gniech's right side. It was 4-5, 146 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 149 minutes, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Timos Kakavetsis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marian Gniech. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
