The supporters of Newcastle United booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Lucio Baladi got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mikolaj Winszman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernabe Osorio. CLATHU's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernabe Osorio. The goal made the score 1-3. Mikolaj Winszman charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikolaj Winszman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, one of Newcastle United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Newcastle United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aprígio Tomé in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kryspin Wyrostek saved Newcastle United from getting behind. Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Mingo in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Mingo in the 46th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Kryspin Wyrostek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz made the kick off in the second half. Kryspin Wyrostek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aprígio Tomé in the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Arnoldo Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLATHU's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Caetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kryspin Wyrostek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aprígio Tomé took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kryspin Wyrostek. Kryspin Wyrostek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Borys Szarmach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Osorio having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Kalinowski to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Caetano came free, but Kryspin Wyrostek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Newcastle United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CLATHU were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
