Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Aurelianu in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Daddy Gol notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera. Leonidas Barrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Voican in the 13th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Bleoancă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 16th minute of play. Daddy Gol in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonidas Barrera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 19 minutes into the game, Buenaventura FC's Jairo de Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonidas Barrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Voican went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute André-Pierre Gignac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Bleoancă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Cosor hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Voican in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonidas Barrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Daddy Gol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonidas Barrera. Leonidas Barrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 68th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Mugurel Bleoancă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florin Cosor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Barrera having to interfere. After 76 played minutes, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Vali Aurelianu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- reached it. Leonidas Barrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Voican, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Buenaventura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Cosor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. In the 95th minute Remus Voican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
