The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 27th minute Braulio Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Lop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Peru came free, but Maximiliano Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Seber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anier Balendin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Cura del Futbol's Maximiliano Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Librado in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Cura del Futbol's Bonifacio Seber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Balendin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braulio Peru in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Lop saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. After some careless play in the BAC Belgrano de Cba defense, Toti Iglesias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Balendin. The BAC Belgrano de Cba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Balendin should have stopped the shot. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Anier Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toti Iglesias in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Cura del Futbol were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
