The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dávid Strelec to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Mugurel Bleoancă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Bleoancă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 54th minute of play. AFK Petržalka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Nikola Krstović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Krstović came free, but Mugurel Bleoancă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Fisher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Voican in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Voican in the 76th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Hugo Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugurel Bleoancă came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović. But to his dismay, Nikola Krstović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 85th minute Daddy Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Fisher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Nikola Krstović rounded Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- had played much better football throughout.
