Aureliano Lorenz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7thth minute of the game Nickolaj Nickerson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nickolaj Nickerson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Lorenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, FC Pirates's Nickolaj Nickerson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aureliano Lorenz. Aureliano Lorenz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Nickolaj Nickerson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Lorenz was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. A collision led to Matheu City FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cirilo Corderall hit a great ball. Aureliano Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolaj Nickerson in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Lorenz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz got control of the ball when Nickolaj Nickerson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Toma Drashanski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz did a great save. Bayan Pantev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Lorenz made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Nickolaj Nickerson sent off a good shot on target. FC Pirates's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Toma Drashanski in the 31st minute. The corner ended in Bayan Pantev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz did a great save. Eulalio Lop hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Aureliano Lorenz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nickolaj Nickerson in the 34th minute. Bayan Pantev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Lorenz having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nickolaj Nickerson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nickolaj Nickerson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nickolaj Nickerson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Lorenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Matey Bochkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Lorenz having to interfere. Nickolaj Nickerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Lorenz having to interfere. Nickolaj Nickerson took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Lorenz. Aureliano Lorenz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The supporters of FC Pirates booed when Matheu City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Corderall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Nickolaj Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nickolaj Nickerson in the 67th minute of play. Aureliano Lorenz came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pirates's Nickolaj Nickerson. But to his dismay, Nickolaj Nickerson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When FC Pirates's Nickolaj Nickerson in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matheu City FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Nickolaj Nickerson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pirates fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. FC Pirates made a substitution. Peter Flaa replaced Nickolaj Nickerson. Peter Flaa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Lorenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Naldo to maneuver through the defense. If Peter Flaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute Peter Flaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Luis Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Lorenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayan Pantev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes, Cirilo Corderall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matheu City FC and the FC Pirates players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Matheu City FC's Cirilo Corderall got a free kick in the 93rd minute. FC Pirates's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
