Dawid Cholewa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Paulin Pego received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafin Dantel came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulin Pego slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. Serafin Dantel came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Las Palmas's Dawid Cholewa. But to his dismay, Dawid Cholewa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Cayetano Esdras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Serafin Dantel made a huge save. Fidel Frederik hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Wlodzimierz Penczkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Stam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wlodzimierz Penczkowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafin Dantel made an important save on a dangerous shot by 秦西星 in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when 秦西星 made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Esdras in the 52nd minute of play forced Cementerio Club's goalkeeper Serafin Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Cementerio Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Ignado to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cementerio Club booed when Las Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fuad Cämilov didn't get a good kick on the ball.
