Sarı kaya FK's Ahmet Ege Yalaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Sarı kaya FK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurence Snow got free with Ahmet Ege Yalaz in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Yalaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexis Alexandris. José Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafim Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Sarı kaya FK's Ahmet Ege Yalaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Giardino in the 28th minute of play. When Sarı kaya FK's Serafim Mangueira in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute Baldomero Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Yalaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Mangueira in the 42nd minute of play forced tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper José Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarı kaya FK were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kent Drake took the corner. The corner led Sarı kaya FK's Kent Drake to fire away a dangerous shot which José Sá despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sarı kaya FK's Hayrettin Yaşam was substituted for Baldomero Chano. Sarı kaya FK's Benjamin Vennersten was substituted for Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan. Sarı kaya FK made a substitution. Isa Savage replaced Serafim Mangueira. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Giardino made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Giardino in the 55th minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Yalaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Alexis Alexandris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Yaşam in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Giardino in the 59th minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Yalaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarı kaya FK's Ahmet Ege Yalaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Alexandris in the 60th minute of play. Ahmet Ege Yalaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexis Alexandris's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes Sarı kaya FK got a freekick which was hit by Kent Drake. In the 66th minute, Hayrettin Yaşam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarı kaya FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hayrettin Yaşam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Yaşam in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Hayrettin Yaşam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarı kaya FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hayrettin Yaşam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Sá came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarı kaya FK's Hayrettin Yaşam. But to his dismay, Hayrettin Yaşam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Sarı kaya FK's Kent Drake slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Sá. That made the score 1-3 after 91 minutes of play. 94 minutes into the match, Sarı kaya FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Möllgren came free, but Ahmet Ege Yalaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sarı kaya FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sarı kaya FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
