In the 4th minute Ciro Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Bin Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taras Romanchuk got free with Dominik Kosakowski in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Dominik Kosakowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taras Romanchuk. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taras Romanchuk got free with Dominik Kosakowski in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominik Kosakowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taras Romanchuk's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Wesly Goemyne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dominik Kosakowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Orságh in the 26th minute of play forced Fundação Marques dos Reis's goalkeeper Yao Bin Yun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Gustav Kvick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ruscova and the Fundação Marques dos Reis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ruscova's Gustav Kvick got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, one of FC Ruscova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ruscova. In the 29th minute, Taras Romanchuk made a precise shot to the right of Dominik Kosakowski. FC Ruscova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Yao Bin Yun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Snaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 32 minutes into the game, Zachary Snaza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Yao Bin Yun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Orságh in the 43rd minute of play. Taras Romanchuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fundação Marques dos Reis made a substitution. Dallas Dalglish replaced Wesly Goemyne. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taras Romanchuk made a kick off. Dominik Kosakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taras Romanchuk in the 53rd minute of the match. FC Ruscova's Dominik Kosakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taras Romanchuk in the 60th minute of play. Yao Bin Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Cortez in the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Taras Romanchuk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fundação Marques dos Reis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Juninho Pernambucano was substituted for Alexandre Pacheco. In the 77th minute Fundação Marques dos Reis were awarded a corner. Tiago Ferreira went to the cornerflag to take it. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Orságh in the 81st minute of play. FC Ruscova's Jens-Erik Forsberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yao Bin Yun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manuel Şoimu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Yao Bin Yun was a little too slow when René Orságh got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-2.
