Rômulo Neves took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Marinho. Carlos Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Régis Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ernesto Varela made a huge save. After 41 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Baiano. Vítor da Costa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of 卡納里尼奧 FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ITAFUT 4EVER:s goal. The referee gave ITAFUT 4EVER a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastião Diniz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho. 0-3. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agostinho Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute Rômulo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Baiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Marinho. That made the score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Laerte Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Robinho Magalhães hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Régis Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. 卡納里尼奧 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Maciel in the 81st minute of play. ITAFUT 4EVER's Ernesto Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Guedes in the 87th minute of play. Ernesto Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Costa hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Régis Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Varela having to interfere. Ernesto Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Marquez in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ITAFUT 4EVER had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
