With his leg Basilio Justin managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Octav Buta got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Rădoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Olimpiu Teodorescu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Basilio Justin. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 51 minutes, Olimpiu Teodorescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Rădoi in the 77th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Basilio Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Joanes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Olimpiu Teodorescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Justin having to interfere. If Sergiu Rădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Olimpiu Teodorescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Teodorescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Justin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
