The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Red John S.K's Christian Monteiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Dionisio Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Christian Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Boedo Vengo's Cayetano Esdras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Simon Berdaitz hit a great ball. Nilmar Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Cayetano Esdras made a huge save. After 30 minutes, Reginaldo Donatello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red John S.K and the De Boedo Vengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Red John S.K got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Paraense. Lázaro Turi, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 33rd minute, Serafin Qwinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes in the game, Luís Paulo Zonta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cayetano Esdras having to interfere. Lázaro Turi charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Turi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Lázaro Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reginaldo Donatello in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Esdras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Qwinton. Cayetano Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Esdras having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Red John S.K's Luís Paulo Zonta made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Esdras was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reginaldo Donatello in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Esdras saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. After 70 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Simon Berdaitz. Cayetano Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Donatello in the 73rd minute of play. If Christian Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Monteiro in the 75th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Monteiro in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Otávio Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Red John S.K got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Zonta. In the 84th minute, Amadeo Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Corderun hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Christian Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red John S.K fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Cayetano Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Monteiro in the 93rd minute of play. Reginaldo Donatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Esdras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Red John S.K fans cheered their team off the field, for while De Boedo Vengo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
