After 4 played minutes, VN BAKITO's Yani Dandolov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jass Villems came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VN BAKITO reached it. Denimir Tzonkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jass Villems having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Hechter in the 7th minute of play forced VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's Denimir Tzonkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jass Villems narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruslan Rúklyov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Hurm, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to VN BAKITO getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Flavinho Pires hit a great ball. Ruslan Rúklyov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hanung Sephtianda. In the 37th minute, Denimir Tzonkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VN BAKITO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Denimir Tzonkov struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jass Villems didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN BAKITO. After the first half VN BAKITO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Denimir Tzonkov made the kick off in the second half. Jass Villems made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Gerasim Berberov sent off a good shot on target.
