In the 6th match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Monteiro was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Thiago Coutinho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thiago Coutinho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Túlio Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Carneiro in the 17th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Juninho Bittencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internazionale-RS the free kick. In the 25th minute, Juninho Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Téo Paulista hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Fabrício Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilherme Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Saldanha in the 31st minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Rodriguinho Ferraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internazionale-RS and the ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Rodriguinho Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jeferson Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Thiago Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeferson Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Téo Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dráuzio Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Monteiro having to interfere. Guilherme Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Saldanha in the 79th minute of play. If Jeferson Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Felipe Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 minutes, Fabrício Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ and the Internazionale-RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Internazionale-RS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
