Walmir Severo took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Túlio Vale. Túlio Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Thiago Coutinho put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adilson Sanches. Alfredinho Macedo's late challenge caught a BLACK BULL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredinho Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Alfredinho Macedo got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes, Romário Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BLACK BULL and the Internazionale-RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BLACK BULL getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Romário Aparecido hit a great ball. Walmir Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Walmir Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Túlio Vale made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Saldanha in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adilson Sanches saved BLACK BULL from getting behind. A collision led to BLACK BULL getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Osvaldinho da Fonseca hit a great ball. Walmir Severo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Túlio Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BLACK BULL. Ruy Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Luís Eduardo Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Adilson Sanches. BLACK BULL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The BLACK BULL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Internazionale-RS were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dráuzio Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Thiago Coutinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adilson Sanches. That made the score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Saldanha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adilson Sanches. Dráuzio Saldanha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 69th minute, Ruy Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 minutes of play, BLACK BULL's Walmir Severo made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Washington Costa's late challenge caught a BLACK BULL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Washington Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Washington Costa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Túlio Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Aparecido in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Walmir Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Túlio Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. When Romário Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the BLACK BULL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Aparecido couldn't finish the play. Walmir Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmir Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walmir Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Severo came free, but Túlio Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adilson Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Internazionale-RS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
