After a rather tough play, Vikingbeer FC's Maximino Perutxo got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Pontes in the 10th minute of play forced Vikingbeer FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Vikingbeer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Claus to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Ezequiel Duarte fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rodolfo Pontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquilino Urtsua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Ezequiel Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Vikingbeer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Duarte couldn't finish the play. Aquilino Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rodolfo Pontes took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Urtsua. Aquilino Urtsua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vikingbeer FC's Aquilino Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Pontes in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Vikingbeer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Victoro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vikingbeer FC booed when Internazionale-RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Pontes to strike the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vikingbeer FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! After 52 minutes Vikingbeer FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Urtsua managed, with a little bit of luck, save Roberto Sena's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 52nd minute, Roberto Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Urtsua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ezequiel Duarte's late challenge caught a Internazionale-RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. Rodolfo Pontes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Aquilino Urtsua 58 minutes into the match. Aquilino Urtsua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Pontes's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Rodolfo Pontess short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Aquilino Urtsua to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodolfo Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Urtsua having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Vikingbeer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Ferraz came free, but Aquilino Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Washington Costa hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Internazionale-RS's Rodolfo Pontes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aquilino Urtsua. That made the score 0-5 after 76 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Robustiano Victoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Pontes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Aquilino Urtsua when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Robustiano Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Aquilino Urtsua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Pontes's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When Thiago Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Internazionale-RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thiago Coutinho couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Pontes in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Urtsua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robustiano Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The Vikingbeer FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Internazionale-RS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
