The supporters of Chaponnay FC booed when PATO BRANCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Carvalho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hugues Delas. Matheo Gaborit showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Abelardo Favoretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierre-Antoine Joron. Chaponnay FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Favoretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a little luck, PATO BRANCO FC's Ricardinho Carvalho got control of the ball when Matheo Gaborit tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matheo Gaborit made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, PATO BRANCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Baux came free, but Ricardinho Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardinho Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farid Walch in the 58th minute of play. Pierre-Antoine Joron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Francisco Cabral during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 minutes, Laerte Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PATO BRANCO FC and the Chaponnay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes PATO BRANCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Tepedino. In the 84th minute Jimmy Willems shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teddy Peyrat during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
