After 23 played minutes ESKİSEHİR DEAF got a freekick which was hit by Bahadır Özsel. Nejat Eryiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Freitas in the 25th minute of play. ESKİSEHİR DEAF's Nejat Eryiğit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Bezerra in the 26th minute of play. When Abel Neto fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niterói FC's protests and gave Abel Neto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Niterói FC's Abel Neto got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute Geovani Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nejat Eryiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mahsun Sezai during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mahsun Sezai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rafa Pires made a huge save. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, ESKİSEHİR DEAF's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Barbosa came free, but Nejat Eryiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Silas Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niterói FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Mahsun Sezai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silas Barbosa got free with Nejat Eryiğit in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 played minutes Niterói FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Martins. Rafa Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahsun Sezai, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ESKİSEHİR DEAF had won after a very even match.
