With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keeghan Duggan in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Natal saved Muerte CFK from getting behind. Ballyvoneen Utd's Keeghan Duggan got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Keeghan Duggan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladimiro Natal. The goal made the score 1-0. Kerrigan Frankson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Thom Harkin in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Muerte CFK's Bruno Savion. Gil Todd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keeghan Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Vladimiro Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Thom Harkin in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Muerte CFK's Bruno Savion. Keeghan Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Vladimiro Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keeghan Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peyton McPaul kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anselmo Astudillo made the kick off in the second half. Ballyvoneen Utd's Gil Todd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Ballyvoneen Utd from getting a goal against them. Ballyvoneen Utd's Gil Todd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Oliverios in the 53rd minute of play. After 60 minutes Muerte CFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brenan McOliver who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Muerte CFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ballyvoneen Utd:s goal. Muerte CFK:s Vladimiro Natal showed great skill when he stopped Brenan McOliver:s penalty. A collision led to Ballyvoneen Utd getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bragain Glen Crowe hit a great ball. Laureano Oliverios might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Todd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Oliverios ran back to his position shaking his head. Ballyvoneen Utd's Gil Todd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ballyvoneen Utd from getting a goal against them. Gil Todd made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Anselmo Astudillo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Muerte CFK booed when Ballyvoneen Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rorke McBjarton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keeghan Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ballyvoneen Utd's Kerrigan Frankson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Keeghan Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muerte CFK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
