Ruben Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintin Sykes in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to C.A.Chicago Rosarina getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ulises Erauso hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Ulises Benat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Shelton Landrum came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cottonport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shelton Landrum couldn't finish the play. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Aristides Gurutz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cottonport's Lamar Chamberlain got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Ulises Benat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cottonport's Ryan Chu didn't even have to move. In the 25th minute, Quintin Sykes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Jerico was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Aristides Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Chicago Rosarina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Gurutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Jerico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintin Sykes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ryan Chu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when C.A.Chicago Rosarina's Domingo Weterio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ryan Chu was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Aristides Gurutz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristides Gurutz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Ulises Benat charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Benat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Chicago Rosarina's zone, Elvis Wall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Jerico came out of the goal and Elvis Wall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Cottonport's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Gurutz came free, but Ryan Chu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Shelton Landrum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casey Anderson made a kick off. In the 55th minute Domingo Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Chu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Jerico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shelton Landrum in the 58th minute. In the 66th minute, Shelton Landrum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cottonport fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 69 minutes into the match, C.A.Chicago Rosarina's goal looked a bit too open when Quintin Sykes came free, but Ruben Jerico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Cottonport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Cotton to maneuver through the defense. Ryan Chu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Eneas took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryan Chu. Ryan Chu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. In the 78th minute, Domingo Weterio made a precise shot to the right of Ryan Chu. Cottonport's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. The audience was convinced that Domingo Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ryan Chu was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. A collision led to Cottonport getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Quintin Sykes hit a great ball. Shelton Landrum's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruben Jerico firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 90 minutes, Aristides Gurutz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Chicago Rosarina and the Cottonport players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aristides Gurutz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ryan Chu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Weterio's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Shelton Landrum who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Ruben Jerico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ronald Benitez hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
