DOĞAN SK's Vahdet Atay managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Peyton McPaul in the 16 minute of the game. After having played for 19 minutes, Bican Urangu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DOĞAN SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bican Urangu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Ballyvoneen Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bragain Glen Crowe to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, Ballyvoneen Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rorke McBjarton to maneuver through the defense. Gil Todd made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bican Urangu sent off a good shot on target. Nizam Sunullah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keeghan Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience held their breath when Brenan McOliver in the 48th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Nizam Sunullah's left hand side. After the first half Ballyvoneen Utd were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Ballyvoneen Utd getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Peyton McPaul hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Ballyvoneen Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bican Urangu came free, but Gil Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keeghan Duggan in the 64th minute of play forced DOĞAN SK's goalkeeper Nizam Sunullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keeghan Duggan in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nizam Sunullah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gil Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eşref Okaner in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Ballyvoneen Utd getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rorke McBjarton hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, DOĞAN SK's Nurettin Özerdim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Todd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 90th match minute, DOĞAN SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahdet Atay to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ballyvoneen Utd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
