Muerte CFK's Vladimiro Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Sanches in the 9th minute of play. Vladimiro Natal came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Niterói FC's Silas Barbosa. But to his dismay, Silas Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Savion got free with Rafa Pires in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Melquiades Gaizkine fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muerte CFK's protests and gave Melquiades Gaizkine a yellow card for diving instead. Juarês Proença took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimiro Natal. Muerte CFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Niterói FC got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Proença. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Astudillo got free with Rafa Pires in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafa Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Niterói FC booed when Muerte CFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Perutxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Astudillo got free with Rafa Pires in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Muerte CFK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bruno Savion hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Astudillo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Niterói FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Astudillo came free, but Rafa Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 51stth minute of the game Anselmo Astudillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niterói FC's Rafa Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafa Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Barbosa in the 54th minute of play forced Muerte CFK's goalkeeper Vladimiro Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Muerte CFK booed when Niterói FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Niterói FC's Ciro Martins got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Silas Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Silas Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Natal was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Edgar Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niterói FC's protests and gave Edgar Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Niterói FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Hoffmann. The supporters of Muerte CFK booed when Niterói FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball.
