Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Antonio Bernard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Norberto Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josué Braga in the 3rd minute. Lucio Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levan Poggenborg in the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino got control of the ball when Antonio Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind TALLERES DE CBA's goalkeeper Lucio Afonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by TALLERES DE CBA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Levan Poggenborg was slow to take the kick. During this time Santa Lucia de Merlo's players had a chance to rest. 12 minutes into the game, M. Agus Young cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lucio Afonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldo Pika's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Norberto Tino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 28th minute, Levan Poggenborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, TALLERES DE CBA's Josué Braga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Tino. Norberto Tino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After some careless play in the TALLERES DE CBA defense, M. Agus Young kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucio Afonso. The TALLERES DE CBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucio Afonso should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when M. Agus Young made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by M. Agus Young to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Som took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Afonso. Lucio Afonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Ronaldo Pika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Tino having to interfere. If Josué Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64thth minute of the game Polo Quinteros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 played minutes TALLERES DE CBA got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Tano. Levan Poggenborg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Polo Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lucio Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Bernard in the 90th minute of play. Ariel Flores made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Celedonio Montes. The Santa Lucia de Merlo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Santa Lucia de Merlo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
