With a little luck, Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout got control of the ball when Jos Musseeuw tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Emanuel Vanooteghem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Algimantas Tarasevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Algimantas Tarasevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lamento Boliviano's Jos Musseeuw got a free kick in the 21st minute. Bavo Van Eeckhout made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Zsolt Molnár sent off a good shot on target. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Vanooteghem to make the kick off. Ingvar Vollander was slow to take the kick. During this time Lamento Boliviano's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Lamento Boliviano's corner Christovao Abastas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bavo Van Eeckhout quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Vanooteghem in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Vergílio saved Lamento Boliviano from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Vanooteghem got free with Augusto Vergílio in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
