The Villa La Perla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Playo in the 23rd minute of play forced April 25 SC's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Maradona in the 28th minute of the match. Villa La Perla's Delmar Machado managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Victorio Zabalo in the 54 minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Maradona came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The April 25 SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Villa La Perla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
