Ioan Felix made a great header on FC Goodfellas's corner, it was just that CSKA-LULIN's Vitomir Starokin managed to reach the ball for a save. Leopoldo Jacinto scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Galvão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Goodfellas's Zé Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FC Goodfellas from getting a goal against them. Mito Kulov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Galvão having to interfere. Vitomir Starokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Viru in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Jacinto came free, but Zé Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edy Mondino struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Vitomir Starokin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Goodfellas. Zé Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Badaz Tacco in the 22nd minute of the match. Alvin Viru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitomir Starokin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. FC Goodfellas were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after CSKA-LULIN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ioan Felix took the corner. Mehmet Şefik Karadağ was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA-LULIN's zone, Alvin Viru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitomir Starokin came out of the goal and Alvin Viru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Ištvan Ceaușescu with Mito Kulov as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 39th minute Leopoldo Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, FC Goodfellas's Alvin Viru made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitomir Starokin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alvin Viru made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Alvin Viru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Starokin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's Alvin Viru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitomir Starokin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mito Kulov struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Zé Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA-LULIN. FC Goodfellas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
