In the 6th match minute, FC Goodfellas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Kåsa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Goodfellas's Zé Galvão got control of the ball when Severo Danel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severo Danel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Zé Galvão made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Severo Danel sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Goodfellas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niklas Örnberg was slow to take the kick. During this time CSKA-LULIN's players had a chance to rest. Mito Kulov was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Zé Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Badaz Tacco in the 26th minute of play. Zé Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Jacinto in the 28th minute of play. Vitomir Starokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Viru in the 34th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvin Viru made a kick off. If Alvin Viru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Goodfellas's Hubert Pentjärv was substituted for Alvin Viru. Vitomir Starokin made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Hubert Pentjärv sent off a good shot on target. Zé Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Badaz Tacco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ištvan Ceaușescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mito Kulov, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's goal looked a bit too open when Mito Kulov came free, but Zé Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Goodfellas's goalkeeper Zé Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Samy Froidefond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vitomir Starokin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The FC Goodfellas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Goodfellas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
