Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baldomero Odol started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Ronaldinho Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Odol in the 10th minute of play forced Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hortêncio Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inazuma Japan's protests and gave Hortêncio Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. Hortêncio Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Inazuma Japan got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Prestes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Odol got free with Zé Vieira in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Doicaru. Zé Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Odol in the 19th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Huracan United -MM-'s corner Iraklis Pistolelis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Vieira quite easily take care of the ball. If Oihan Zadaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Baldomero Odol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Huracan United -MM-'s Baldomero Odol in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aristide Doicaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huracan United -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseu Dante was slow to take the kick. During this time Inazuma Japan's players had a chance to rest. Eliseu Dante made a great header on Inazuma Japan's corner, it was just that Huracan United -MM-'s Jorne Volders managed to reach the ball for a save. Zé Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oihan Zadaya in the 44th minute. Lambros Stathopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antônio Aguiar was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inazuma Japan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iraklis Pistolelis was slow to take the kick. During this time Huracan United -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. In the 61st minute Hortêncio Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorne Volders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Lago came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Inazuma Japan's Gilson Prestes got a free kick in the 64th minute. Inazuma Japan made a substitution. Adilson Ramalho replaced Antônio Aguiar. Zé Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Domuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inazuma Japan's Gilson Prestes got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Gilson Prestes off the ground. After a rather tough play, Inazuma Japan's Gilson Prestes got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to Inazuma Japan getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Adilson Ramalho hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Ronaldinho Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Marin Domuță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zé Vieira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abelardo da Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Jorne Volders when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Huracan United -MM- were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Inazuma Japan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iraklis Pistolelis took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Ronaldinho Lago managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 99th minute, Marin Domuță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Inazuma Japan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
