But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Maurycy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malcolm Stenman in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lilko Dúrov saved ФК Созополи from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Malcolm Stenman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lilko Dúrov was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Malcolm Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute Malcolm Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilko Dúrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germán Luz was a little too slow when Toshko Mihailov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. Lilko Dúrov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Deportivo Turro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malcolm Stenman in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Malcolm Stenman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Turro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Germán Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pantaley Mironov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wilton Queirós made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Malcolm Stenman. Deportivo Turro's Germán Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toshko Mihailov in the 55th minute of play. If Zdzislaw Maurycy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Deportivo Turro's goal looked a bit too open when Toshko Mihailov came free, but Germán Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lilko Dúrov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Malcolm Stenman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. Anton Shapkarov hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. ФК Созополи's Samuil Bozev was substituted for Jean-Sébastien Nedellec. In the 76th minute, Phoenix Roşu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper Germán Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Al Horford came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Deportivo Turro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Al Horford couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malcolm Stenman got free with Lilko Dúrov in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toshko Mihailov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germán Luz having to make a save. Germán Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toshko Mihailov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuil Bozev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Turro made a substitution. Celso Fix replaced Malcolm Stenman. Deportivo Turro's Celso Fix got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Deportivo Turro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Turro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
