Giresun United F.K ©'s Kubat Aydınoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Tobaczewski in the 24th minute of play. Stasio Jerzyks short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Kubat Aydınoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 32ndth minute of the game Naci Tuncel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Miroslaw Basaik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ubaldo Matildo Ubakivi to make the kick off. When the match was over Giresun United F.K © could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin throughout the match.
