Manilan Monterrey might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manilan Monterrey ran back to his position shaking his head. Cougars FC made a substitution. Fiori Guimarães replaced Eustaquio Mede. The Raven Heart fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Raven Heart's Pero Barrutia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barto Gayoso in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoud de Pelsmakere saved Cougars FC from getting behind. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Manilan Monterrey sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere got control of the ball when Manilan Monterrey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barto Gayoso in the 34th minute of play. Manilan Monterrey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a huge save. Benvido Fuica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 43rd minute of play. Mehat Kovaçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benvido Fuica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehat Kovaçi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Cougars FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47thth minute of the game Manilan Monterrey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mehat Kovaçi made a kick off. In the 55th minute Pero Barrutia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barto Gayoso in the 56th minute of the match. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Marcones in the 58th minute of play. If Manilan Monterrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Raven Heart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamuran Balcıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Cougars FC made a substitution. Steffen Gimlinge replaced Mehat Kovaçi. Raven Heart's Dragoljub Krajišnik was substituted for Natalio Marcones. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bazil Corales in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Leonel Solo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Raven Heart's Kurt Blixt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manilan Monterrey in the 86th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamuran Balcıoğlu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
