In the 5th minute, Valentin Odén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Roger de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Odén went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Bäcklin in the 26th minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Roger de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Palmquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diego Barros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven Palmquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Barros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 31st minute. Sven Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Teles in the 35th minute of play. Kim Enström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger de Souza having to make a save. In the 38th play minute Diego Barros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sven Palmquist. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Scrotum Kickers FC's zone, Roger Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Palmquist came out of the goal and Roger Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Barros made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Scrotum Kickers FC got a freekick which was hit by Kim Enström. Sven Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Teles in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Scrotum Kickers FC's zone, Roger Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Palmquist came out of the goal and Roger Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Teles in the 66th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Porto to maneuver through the defense. Roger Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sven Palmquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Diego Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Rune Tönnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Scrotum Kickers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Scrotum Kickers FC.
