The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Wakanda fv FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armandinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Barros in the 8th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Teles. Vágner Abraão hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, one of Wakanda fv FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Roger Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's attentive Giuseppe Queirós managed to snatch the ball when Pedro Luís Porto made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Barros in the 34th minute of play. Armandinho Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Teles in the 38th minute of play forced Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goalkeeper Armandinho Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armandinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Teles in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wakanda fv FSCMZ's zone, Diego Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armandinho Mattos came out of the goal and Diego Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armandinho Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Camargo to make the kick off. André Luís de Almeida hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by André Luís de Almeida. 54 minutes into the match, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Teles came free, but Armandinho Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Teles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armandinho Mattos having to make a save. After 59 minutes of play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Diego Barros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armandinho Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Wakanda fv FSCMZ's zone, Diego Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armandinho Mattos came out of the goal and Diego Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goalkeeper Armandinho Mattos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clemente Teles was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 73 played minutes Wakanda fv FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Abraão. If Diego Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th of the match, Clemente Teles tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Armandinho Mattos got in the way and made a wonderful save. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Roger Melo hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Roger Melo made a precise shot to the right of Armandinho Mattos. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Barros got free with Armandinho Mattos in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 minutes of play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Clemente Teles made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armandinho Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
