José Paulo Xavier made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Marcelino Ospin sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute Geovani Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monte Hermoso Beach's Eleuterio Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Donatello in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Joélson Donatello notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Monte Hermoso Beach's Eleuterio Aztore. Eleuterio Aztore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25th play minutes Marcelino Ospin shot 2-1, a short shot which went by José Paulo Xavier and just under the crossbar into goal. Jacinto Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Moises Harri got a free kick in the 47th minute. Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Benjamin Arotza replaced Nicasio Lia. Monte Hermoso Beach's Miguel Joseph was substituted for Moises Harri. After 48 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Moises Harri. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After having played for 55 minutes, Marco Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Demario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Paulo Xavier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. José Paulo Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Bixintxo in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Damian Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Mazza to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Geovani Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Paulo Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Ospin in the 94th minute of the match. José Paulo Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Bixintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Joélson Donatello notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Monte Hermoso Beach's Eleuterio Aztore. Eleuterio Aztore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
