The supporters of Marquês de Herval booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilmar Berger hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Christian Monteiro scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juarês de Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gualter Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Red John S.K booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Red John S.K's Christian Monteiro in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marquês de Herval's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the game, Red John S.K's Christian Monteiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juarês de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Juarês de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Paraense in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Luís Paulo Zonta took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Juarês de Amaral to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Juarês de Amaral managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Red John S.K's Sílvio Veiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reginaldo Donatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Juarês de Amaral made a huge save. After 44 played minutes Red John S.K got a freekick which was hit by Christian Monteiro. Marquês de Herval's Juarês de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Monteiro in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juarês de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Reginaldo Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Marquês de Herval's Juarês de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Monteiro in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reginaldo Donatello in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Red John S.K fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Red John S.K's Reginaldo Donatello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Robinho Gerber's late challenge caught a Red John S.K's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robinho Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Red John S.K's Luís Paulo Zonta suffered a concussion after 79 minutes and had to leave the field. After 79 minutes, Gualter Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marquês de Herval and the Red John S.K players grew even worse after the yellow card. Red John S.K made a substitution. Zé Carlos das Neves replaced Luís Paulo Zonta. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gualter Romero hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Donatello came free, but Juarês de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red John S.K's Zé Carlos das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juarês de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Donatello in the 86th minute of the match. Juarês de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Donatello came free, but Juarês de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Red John S.K were the better team. Red John S.K's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
