The crowd rose to their feet as Clemente Teles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amancio Paez. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Genaro Frechoso's late challenge caught a Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Frechoso helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Falckner FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. Diogo Barros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amancio Paez. 2-0. In the 86th minute Clemente Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Falckner FC's goalie and right to Diego Barros. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Falckner FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
