Anfilogino Amicone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Töpper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Töpper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Anfilogino Amicone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigel Bucur came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fırat Aytekin could save by the left post. In the 14th minute Dé Töpper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Amicone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Bucur. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting a goal against them. With 20 minutes on the clock, Léopold Thomas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 20th match minute, Toronto Marlies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léopold Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Toronto Marlies FC's Gaston Rader was substituted for Josiah Ferland. After a rather tough play, Toronto Marlies FC's Léopold Thomas got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Fulvio Pollastrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Amicone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Töpper in the 25th minute of play. Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Rosa in the 33rd minute of play. Anfilogino Amicone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Töpper in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Toronto Marlies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Marques came free, but Anfilogino Amicone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Bucur in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Toronto Marlies FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jakub Pisarcik hit a great ball. Tiburcio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Amicone having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A sloppy throw-in by Gerard Pique in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Edgard de Lima. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Bucur in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 62nd minute of play forced Toronto Marlies FC's goalkeeper Anfilogino Amicone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toronto Marlies FC's Daniel Passarelli was substituted for Ian Pansby. S.C. Corinthians Paulista made a substitution. Valdecir Carlos replaced Edgard de Lima. Gaston Rader kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Anfilogino Amicone made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Doğuhan Alpaslan sent off a good shot on target. Tracy Narcisse charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tracy Narcisse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Toronto Marlies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tracy Narcisse to maneuver through the defense. Noel Hamlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fırat Aytekin having to interfere. Tiburcio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone got control of the ball when Tiburcio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anfilogino Amicone. That made the score 0-2 after 88 minutes of play. After 93 minutes of play, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anfilogino Amicone was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched S.C. Corinthians Paulista eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
