After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ernesto Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Characate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Txanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammad Chan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 4th minute Cláudio Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Price was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Jonathan Siong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Siong really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Characate FC's Benjamin Price got control of the ball when Bernt Willig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Wen Ke Yan could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Benjamin Price however easily saved by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Jonathan Siong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Price. Characate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Siong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jonathan Siong came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benjamin Price could save by the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Siong came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Jonathan Siong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benjamin Price was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Price made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Willig in the 43rd minute. Rigoberto Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Jonathan Siong made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Ke Yan in the 52nd minute of play. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wen Ke Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes of play, Stars's Mikael Månsson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Price was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Characate FC defense, Wen Ke Yan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Price. The Characate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Price should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the game, Gerardo Santikurtz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Muhammad Chan. Gerardo Santikurtz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. Muhammad Chan made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Leopoldo Afonso sent off a good shot on target. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Botelho in the 65th minute of play. If Gerardo Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Siong came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stars's Muhammad Chan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Stars from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Botelho scored 7-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Price, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stars's Rudy Chandran was substituted for Jonathan Siong. With a little luck, Stars's Muhammad Chan got control of the ball when Leopoldo Afonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Leopoldo Afonso came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Characate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Afonso couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Botelho in the 83rd minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wen Ke Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Afonso got free with Muhammad Chan in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Cláudio Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gerardo Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Willig in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stars fully deserved thier win.
