With a little luck, Gladiator FC's Elpidio Bilintx got control of the ball when Leon Pěnčík tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gladiator FC's goalie and right to Petr Martinů. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gladiator FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gladiator FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Peralta took the corner. After taking down the ball on Gladiator FC's corner Carlo Taranto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erasmo Diegotxe quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Taranto in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Diegotxe saved Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho from getting behind. Erasmo Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Taranto in the 24th minute of play. Konstantin Butylin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Diegotxe having to make a save. Erasmo Diegotxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konstantin Butylin's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. A hard shot 40 in the game by Boukjan Bunt from a close distance when the talented Elpidio Bilintx managed to make a qualified save. Gladiator FC's players were relieved. In the 45th minute Carlo Taranto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislav Trtík hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Elpidio Bilintx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Pěnčík in the 53rd minute of the match. Erasmo Diegotxe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Taranto in the 57th minute. If Petr Martinů had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Bilintx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petr Martinů, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Robert Šedina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Elpidio Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gladiator FC made a substitution. Vaggelis Mitsiou replaced Konstantin Butylin. 66 minutes into the match, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Erasmo Diegotxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlo Taranto. If Robert Šedina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho made a substitution. Santa Viola replaced Shi Yang Sha. In the 75th minute, Robert Šedina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 78th minute Boukjan Bunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Bilintx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boukjan Bunt in the 80th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Bilintx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Erasmo Diegotxe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Gladiator FC's Erasmo Diegotxe threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vaggelis Mitsiou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Erasmo Diegotxe made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Carlo Taranto sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Pěnčík came free, but Elpidio Bilintx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Erasmo Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Lovera in the 90th minute of play. Erasmo Diegotxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Bianco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gladiator FC's Federico Bianco got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Pěnčík to maneuver through the defense.
