An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Sanocki in the 11th minute of play forced El Vigia FC's goalkeeper Azeari Velamines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandria Team08's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Inacio Garrote scored to the left of an out of position Radu Barbălată, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Cadimo in the 16th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Radu Barbălată to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Vigia FC's Ovidio Froylan got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante King hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. El Vigia FC's Azeari Velamines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Miulescu in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Manole Miulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexandria Team08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Alexandria Team08's Manole Miulescu in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marin Dică to make the kick off. The coaching staff of El Vigia FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristo Santio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to El Vigia FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cristo Santio hit a great ball. Albano Sergi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Azeari Velamines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria Team08. Azeari Velamines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Panciu in the 61st minute of play. Marin Dică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Alberto Yepes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Alberto Yepes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes El Vigia FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Alberto Yepes. Alexandria Team08's Zhou was substituted for Manole Miulescu. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Doctor Mugg replaced Marin Dică. In the 72nd minute Alexandria Team08 were awarded a corner. Albano Sergi went to the cornerflag to take it. El Vigia FC's Azeari Velamines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doctor Mugg in the 78th minute of play. If Bartolo Cadimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to El Vigia FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mario Alberto Yepes hit a great ball. Azeari Velamines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doctor Mugg in the 89th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. El Vigia FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Alexandria Team08 for much of the match.
