The corner led vascão o Melhor's Wellington Cabral to fire away a dangerous shot which Edson Maciel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edson Maciel made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Gust Deflandre sent off a good shot on target. Kevin Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Ankiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Délio Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mané Urbano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Edson Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 毛建棋 in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Cirilo Fanuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vascão o Melhor and the ABC RN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in ABC RN's zone, Gust Deflandre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Maciel came out of the goal and Gust Deflandre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If 毛建棋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ABC RN getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Meireles hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gust Deflandre to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gust Deflandre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ABC RN's Edson Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Fanuco in the 56th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Wellington Cabral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edson Maciel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, ABC RN's Przemyslaw Ankiewicz got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes, Gust Deflandre made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. ABC RN's Edson Maciel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Gust Deflandre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. vascão o Melhor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ABC RN the free kick. In the 64th minute, Gust Deflandre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67thth minute of the game Gust Deflandre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABC RN's Edson Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gust Deflandre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edson Maciel was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. vascão o Melhor were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after ABC RN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wellington Cabral took the corner. vascão o Melhor's Wellington Cabral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edson Maciel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. José Maria Rocha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. ABC RN's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When vascão o Melhor's Gust Deflandre in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ABC RN's goalie prevented a goal. Edson Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Wellington Cabral hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Doriva Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ABC RN's zone, Gust Deflandre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Maciel came out of the goal and Gust Deflandre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Gust Deflandre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABC RN's Edson Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mané Urbano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edson Maciel having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Gust Deflandre put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edson Maciel. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. vascão o Melhor had played much better football throughout.
