FC GAZprom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xie Cheng Xiao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Salvagnin got free with Angelo Baciadonne in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Salvagnin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Angelo Baciadonne 40 minutes into the match. Narcis Buhuș's late challenge caught a FC GAZprom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narcis Buhuș helped the player get up and apologised. Narcis Buhuș kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Miron Kalashnikov struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Angelo Baciadonne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC GAZprom.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Xie Cheng Xiao in the 57th minute of play forced Pardina's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xie Cheng Xiao made a great header on FC GAZprom's corner, it was just that Pardina's Angelo Baciadonne managed to reach the ball for a save.
